Warrick County Women’s Fund Grant Cycle Now Open

The Women’s Fund of Warrick County, a fund of the Warrick County Community Foundation, is now seeking applicants for charitable projects or activities aimed at improving the quality of life for Warrick County families. Funding is available to support a charitable project or program. A Letter of Inquiry is the required first step for submitting funding requests to the Women’s Fund of Warrick County grants committee and is due on Monday, December 30, 2019.

Letters of Inquiry will be reviewed by the Women’s Fund grants committee, with all applicants being notified of the review decision no later than January 10, 2020. Successful applicants will be invited to submit a formal grant application due by January 24, 2020.

The types of charitable activities that may be supported through this grant program include community development, education, health, human services, and other civic endeavors and activities that will improve the quality of life for families in Warrick County.

Consideration will be given to nonprofit organizations deemed tax-exempt under sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Code and from governmental agencies serving Warrick County. Nonprofit organizations that are not classified as a 501(c)(3) public charity may be considered provided the program/project is charitable and meets certain criteria.
