Homemade masks are in demand for essential workers – Show us your ‘Maskerpiece’

Are you able to make masks or know of groups that have this talent and ability? 😷 Instructions for making homemade masks can be found on eisforeveryone.com. Once you have completed your maskerpiece, post a picture on social media with the #maskerpiece.

Please drop off your ‘maskerpieces’ at these two convenient locations in Evansville: Romain Cadillac Service Center (Mon-Fri 8 am – 8 pm; Sat. 8 am – 4 pm) and CK Newsome Center (Mon- Fri. – 7 am – 3 pm). The homemade masks will be delivered to the appropriate healthcare facilities and essential businesses.

Romain Cadillac Service Center located at 7600 E Division Street and CK Newsome Center at 100 Walnut Street have stepped-up to serve the community at this time. Volunteers will be onsite at each location allowing donors to stay in their vehicles during drop-off. Collected items will be distributed to healthcare professionals throughout the Greater Evansville region – where the need becomes the greatest.

PPE Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in need at this time include medical grade N95 masks, isolation masks, surgical masks, isolation gowns, surgical gowns, goggles, lab coats that can be laundered, disposable Latex-Free medical exam gloves, hand sanitizer that is at least 60% alcohol, and more. Donations will be accepted at the Romain Cadillac location Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at their Service Center.
