Tickets on sale now for the Ohio OVC Basketball Championships – March 6 – 9

Single-session tickets are now on sale for the Ohio Valley Conference men’s and women’s basketball championships, which takes place at the Ford Center March 6 – 9. The road to the Final Four begins in Evansville as the winners of the OVC basketball tournament are the first teams in for the NCAA tournament in March!

Here’s your chance to see:

  • Ja Morant, Murray State University: Projected to be a top 5 pick in the 2019 NBA draft; Wooden Award Top 20 watch list; Bob Cousy Award (best point guard) Top 10 watch list; Oscar Robertson Trophy Top 12 watch list.
  • Dylan Windler, Belmont University: Finalist for the Senior Class Award; Finalist for the Julius Erving Small Forward of the Year Award.
  • Maura Muensterman, Belmont University: Former Mater Dei High School standout who’s averaging nearly 10 points per game for the 18-5 Bruins.

Individual game tickets (includes a 2-game session except for Saturday) are only $30 for the men’s games and $15 for women’s! Click here to see the session details, game times and tourney brackets. Plus, the recently announced discounts below can be purchased at the Ford Center box office on the day of the game. High school students should plan to attend the College Admissions Fair on March 7 – see details below.

Wednesday, March 6

  • Women’s Session (1:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.) – Evansville Day presented by Visit Evansville. $5 tickets for Evansville-area residents.
  • Men’s Session (6:30 p.m. & 8:30 p.m.) – Evansville Day presented by Visit Evansville. $10 tickets for Evansville-area residents.

Thursday, March 7

  • Women’s Session (1:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.) – “Senior Day.” Senior citizens 65 and older receive a $5 ticket.
  • Men’s Session (6:30 p.m. & 8:30 p.m.) – OVC Admissions Fair for local high school students presented by the U.S. Army ROTC from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the Ford Center concourse. All OVC Admissions Fair attendees will receive a free ticket to the session. Students can register at www.OVCSsports.com/Evansville   

Friday, March 8

  • Women’s Session (1:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.) – “Fast Break Lunch.” Ticket, hot dog and soda for $10.
  • Men’s Session (7:00 p.m. & 9:00 p.m.) – Youth Basketball Nigh presented by Shoe Carnival. Children 12 and under who wear a basketball jersey receive free admission with a purchase of a discounted $15 adult ticket.

Saturday, March 9

  • Women’s Championship (2:00 p.m.) – Family Four Pack presented by German American Bank. 4 tickets, 4 sodas, 4 hot dogs for $40.
  • Men’s Championship (7:00 p.m.) – Family four pack presented by German American Bank. 4 tickets, 4 sodas, 4 hot dogs for $60.

The OVC universities include: Austin Peay State University, Belmont University, Eastern Illinois University, Eastern Kentucky University, Jacksonville State University, Morehead State University, Murray State University, Southeast Missouri State University, Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville, Tennessee State University, Tennessee Technological University and University of Tennessee at Martin. Only the top 8 seeds make the tournament.
