Spotlight Performance Series at cMoe

The Children’s Museum of Evansville (cMoe) will host the first Spotlight Performance Series of the New Year on January 21st.
The Spotlight Performance Series features artists and cultural performers from the Tri-State and region throughout the year. The program directly strengthens arts education for K-12 students in Vanderburgh County and surrounding counties, helping them to foster the talent and innovation of artists, as experience makers.
Tammy Deicken will spin stories for children of all ages from 11:00 am to 11:45 am. Tammy Deicken as The Taleweaver is active in various local and regional oral performances, especially in the form of storytelling. Tammy has performed in house concerts, campground fireside stories, libraries, and even cruise ship programs.
Magician Collin Culiver will perform mind-blowing magic from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Collin has developed a special show combining storytelling, and audience participation. His mission is to spark child-like wonder into every audience member’s eye.
While cMoe is normally closed on Mondays, the museum will be open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January 21) for the Spotlight Performances and play. Activities are included with museum admission and no registration is required: $8 per person/Free for cMoe Member Families.
Spotlight Performances are made possible, in part, with support from the Indiana Arts Commission, Vanderburgh Community Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
