Ido Leffler, serial entrepreneur and consumer futurist, will visit Evansville on Wednesday, Sept. 10 to speak at the Southwest Indiana Chamber Annual Meeting & Dinner. The event, an annual celebration for the Southwest Indiana regional business community, will be hosted at Old National Events Plaza in downtown Evansville. In addition to providing stakeholders and the greater Evansville area community with an annual update on the Chamber’s progress and achievements and a glimpse into the organization’s plan for the year ahead, the Chamber presents awards to businesses and businesspeople in six categories. Nearly 650 guests joined us in 2013 to help us recognize and celebrate the following six award recipients:
- Norman P. Wagner Business of the Year: Lefler Collision & Glass Repair Centers
- Richard A. Schlottman Business Person of the Year: Jeff Justice, Hafer Associates
- Volunteer of the Year: Charley Storms, FLANDERS Inc.
- Small Business of the Year: AlphaGraphics Evansville
- Entrepreneur of the Year: Nick Davidson, Tin Man Brewing Co.
- Nonprofit of the Year: Youth First, Inc.
