Gilda’s Club Evansville celebrates 5 years and receives generous support from D-Patrick Ford

Gilda’s Club 5 year birthday party will be Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Gilda’s Club Evansville, 5740 Vogel Road, Evansville, IN 47715. The celebration is open to the public. There will be a timeline of pictures and inspiration highlighting the impact Gilda’s Club has brought to our community over the last 5 years.

Gilda’s Club Evansville’s mission is to serve as a community of caring individuals that provide social, emotional and educational support to anyone impacted by cancer. 100% locally funded, together we share a vision that no one should face cancer alone. Gilda’s Club Evansville is an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community (CSC), a global organization providing psychosocial cancer support to tens of thousands of people through a network of nearly 50 local affiliates, more than 100 satellite locations and online.

D-Patrick Ford will present a check for $2500 to Gilda’s Club Evansville on Thursday, Feb 7th at 11:00 am at Gilda’s Club located at 5740 Vogel Rd., Evansville.

For the past 5+ years, D-Patrick Ford Lincoln has chosen a local nonprofit organization to promote and include in their monthly test drive give-away.  For every test drive of a new Ford during the month of January D-Patrick donated $10 to Gilda’s Club.

“Helping our community is a goal of everyone at D-Patrick Ford,” Mike O’Daniel said. “We have really enjoyed giving back to our local nonprofits through our monthly give-away based on test drives!”

“D-Patrick’s contribution drives strength and hope into the homes of families impacted by cancer by supporting Gilda’s unique program of support so that no one faces cancer alone!” Melanie Atwood, Gilda’s Club Executive Director, exclaimed. “What a deal!”
