Gilda’s Club Evansville and Smokefree Communities will host a free community event for National Kick Butts Day. Youth age 10+ and adults will learn about the health risks of smoking, including e-cigarettes and obtain information on smoking cessation and cancer resources. All attendees will write encouraging notes to put in local “Quit Kits” to help those kicking the habit!
Courtney Horning from Smokefree Community and Jo Gilreath, LCSW from Gilda’s Club will lead this interactive workshop on Wednesday March 20th from 5:30-6:30pm at Gilda’s Club Evansville (5740 Vogel Rd). There is a free dinner available starting at 5:00pm.
Advance registration is preferred, but walk in attendees are welcome. Free T-shirts to the first 50 attendees. To register, please call 812-402-8667 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Include ages of youth attending and t-shirt size needed.
