EXTEND GROUP was honored at the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office Recognition Ceremony with a Certificate of Appreciation for the team’s community collaboration and work on the Vanderburgh County Crime Victim Resources (VCCVR) website. Shawn Collins of EXTEND GROUP and Detective Matt Elrod, who first recognized the need for an online crime victim resource hub in Vanderburgh County and made the project possible, were both presented with certificates for their hard work and dedication to the community resource. “EXTEND GROUP is honored to be a part of this community collaboration and humbled by the Sheriff’s Office’s recognition and appreciation, “ said Collins.“Mr. Shawn Collins donated generously with his and his staff’s time and labor,” said Sheriff Dave Wedding during the Recognition Ceremony. “The result of their efforts was a website comprised of agencies and organizations that work collaboratively with a common goal of providing assistance, education, and power to provide victims and citizens of Vanderburgh County with digital resources and services. Thank you to Matt and Shawn and the entire team at EXTEND GROUP for their hard work.” The Recognition Ceremony, held at the Old Courthouse, recognized the accomplishments of multiple sheriff deputies and one confinement officer, welcomed five new deputy sheriffs to the community, and acknowledged the collaborators of the Vanderburgh County Crime Victim Resources.
