Earth Day 2021 Celebration at Wesselman Woods

Join the Wesselman Woods team for a day of hikes, animal encounters, and learning about nature.

We are so fortunate to have the largest tract of urban old-growth forest right here in Evansville. You can share the good news about this ecological and cultural treasure by joining us at Wesselman Woods on Friday, April 23rd, to celebrate all things EARTH! We have a full day of events lined up to celebrate nature and all of its beauty. Join us for…

• Guided Hikes at 9 AM and 1 PM

• Animal Encounter at 11 AM

• Welborn Baptist Foundation Nature Playscape Guided Activity from 2-4 PM

• Musical Earth Day Experience with The Melody Garden at 3:30 PM

• Field Guides on wildflowers and tree leaves for self-guided tours

Regular admission rates will apply and members get in free.
