DOWNTOWN EVANSVILLE – Moonlight Madness scheduled for Friday, August 14

New event series promotes Small Businesses in Downtown Evansville

Economic Improvement District (EID) is welcoming the community to visit downtown shops and restaurants on Friday, August 14 from 6-9 PM for a new event series called Moonlight Madness.

Downtown stores and restaurants will be open late hours and offering specials. Tours of condominiums for sale will be held from 6-7:30 PM at the Meridian Plaza (300 Main) and the Renaissance on Main (508 Main) Buildings. Six local musicians will perform live music along Main Street as guests stroll from shop to shop.

Social distancing will be encouraged at this outdoor event. Businesses have implemented safety protocols to combat the spread of COVID-19, which may include requiring customers to wear a mask upon entry. Face masks are required for condo tours.

“Small businesses provide the uniqueness that make our community different from other cities,” said Josh Armstrong, president, EID. “We invite the community to join us downtown and support our local businesses. Safely shop in our stores, dine in our restaurants, and imagine yourself living downtown on your condo tour,” he added.

A second Moonlight Madness event is scheduled for Friday, September 11 from 6-9 PM. Visit DowntownEvansville.com/MoonlightMadness or Downtown Evansville Indiana on social media for individual shop and restaurant offerings and information about condominiums for sale.
