The DOWNTOWN EVANSVILLE – Economic Improvement District (EID) is hosting the final Night on Main Presented by Romain GMC on Saturday September 18 from 7 – 11 PM on the 500 Block of Main Street.
The event, billed as Downtown Evansville’s summer block party series, is a collaboration with Kevin’s Backstage Bar & Grill and will feature live music from Andy Brasher and the band McFly, giant Jenga, giant beer pong, yard games, and more.
The event is for guests 21 years of age and older. Admission is $10 per person and can be purchased online or the night of the event. There are no processing fees for online purchases. Admission includes access to all activities. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit the Children’s Museum of Evansville (cMoe), which is celebrating 15 years of discovery and play in Downtown Evansville.
“We’re hosting one final party on Main Street to close out the summer. It’s fitting that a portion of the event proceeds will benefit cMoe, a neighbor, as they celebrate their 15th birthday in Downtown Evansville this month,” said Josh Armstrong, president, EID.
Lashbrooke’s BBQ and La Plaza Food Trucks will be serving food to attendees. Kevin’s Backstage will be selling beverages. Existing Downtown businesses will also be open for consumers.
The media partner for the series is Townsquare Media and their Downtown Evansville based-stations MY 105.3 WJLT, 99.5 WKDQ, KISS 106, and 103 GBF.
