The Children’s Museum of Evansville (cMoe) will host a special Spotlight Performance on February 23rd featuring Musical Ventriloquist Megan Piphus.
Megan has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, NBC’s America’s Got Talent, and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Blending her vocal prowess with ventriloquism, Megan captivates audiences of all ages through comedy, impersonations, musical anecdotes, and inspirational messages.
Megan’s performance will begin at 11 am and she will host a ventriloquism workshop afterwards.
The Spotlight Performance Series features artists and cultural performers from the Tri-State and region throughout the year. The program directly strengthens arts education for K-12 students in Vanderburgh County and surrounding counties, helping them to foster the talent and innovation of artists, as experience makers.
Spotlight Performances are made possible, in part, with support from the Indiana Arts Commission, Vanderburgh Community Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
Activities are included with museum admission and no registration is required: $8 per person/Free for cMoe Member Families. The museum is located at the corner of 5th and Locust Streets in Downtown Evansville. For additional information, please visit www.cMoekids.org or call (812) 464-cMoe (2663).
