Children’s Museum of Evansville Celebrates 12th Birthday

Can you believe it’s been twelve years already that cMoe has been entertaining and educating our community’s children?

Make plans to celebrate cMoe’s 12th birthday on Saturday, September 29 during the Birthday Bash with a full day of fun planned, including performances and workshop by Adzooks Puppets, demonstrations by Brice’s ATA Martial Arts, birthday cake, crafts, and games.

Adzooks Puppets performance and workshop are part of the Spotlight Performance Series made possible, in part, with support from the Indiana Arts Commission, Vanderburgh Community Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.

In addition to Birthday Bash activities, cMoe will open a new traveling exhibit produced by the Omaha Children’s Museum: Dinosaurs! In Dinosaurs, children can explore a prehistoric world with moving creatures including a Velociraptor, Triceratops and Stegosaurus.

Featuring six animatronic dinosaurs, including a giant T. Rex and a flapping Pteranodon, the exhibit will delight young and old. Children can imagine themselves as paleontologists studying the large T. Rex skeleton and digging in the fossil dig stations.

The immersive world of Dinosaurs is open September 29, 2018-January 12, 2019 at cMoe. This travelling exhibit was made possible by funding from the Old National Foundation.

All activities included with general admission. $8 dollars per person/cMoe Member Families Free.
