Annual program celebrates the next generation of community leaders
The Rotary Club of Evansville is pleased to announce the 20 Under 40 award program for 2021. “Generational leadership is a very important component for our community and this year is no exception,” said Amy Canterbury, Rotary president.
Individuals who are younger than forty years old and have exhibited leadership qualities and characteristics are eligible for nomination. Nominators will describe the nominee’s positive impact on the community, as well as their community involvement. The Class of 2021 will consist of 20 individuals from various backgrounds and professions in the area. Nominations should be submitted immediately. The recipients will be honored at a special awards luncheon on Tuesday September 28, 2021.
Rick Moore, incoming Rotary president said, “We want to honor these individuals in a special way. The 20 Under 40 program is a perfect way to recognize them as leaders and their continued contributions in our community.”
“Helping our community continue to grow and prosper is a major part of the Rotary Club of Evansville,” said Canterbury. “With this annual award, we are encouraging individuals to stay here and grow with us.”
