Two businesses in Southwest Indiana were among twenty small businesses that were recognized by the state with Economic Development and Growth through Entrepreneurship (EDGE) awards. Enjole’ Interiors in Evansville and K&K Dirtworks Inc. in Spencer County were honored during a ceremony Wednesday with Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch and U.S. Small Business Administration Administrator, Linda McMahon.
Crouch said, “if you’re looking for what’s driving Indiana’s robust economic growth, look to our state’s small businesses. Today there a half a million small businesses across Indiana which are developing new ways to innovate and serve their communities. Today’s EDGE Award winners exemplify the hard work and determination it takes to launch and grow a business.”
Both of the Southwest Indiana businesses are clients of the Southwest ISBDC, hosted by the Southwest Indiana Chamber. The businesses benefited from Southwest ISBDC one-one professional business advising, tools and resources that helped their business start, grow and thrive.
