May 9, 2017 – Evansville, Ind. – Old National Bank is accepting beneficiary applications for the 8th annual 100 Men Who Cook fundraiser in Evansville. Presented and brought to the community by Old National Bank, the goal of the “100 Men Who Cook” event is to raise as much money as possible for local non-profit organizations. Last year’s event raised over $221,000 for the Ark Crisis Child Care Center and has raised $726,000 since its first event in 2011. Foot-print wide, 100 Men Who Cook has raised nearly 4.5 million for local non-profits.
In order to qualify as the benefiting organization, an application must be submitted by Friday, June 30, 2017. The beneficiary will be announced at this year’s event on Saturday, August 26. Further qualifications include maintaining an active 501(c)3 status and providing service to the greater Evansville area.

The unique fundraiser brings 100 local celebrity chefs together to prepare and serve their best culinary dish for the community. In addition, the event offers music, a live auction and a chef’s competition that honors the chef who raises the most money for the cause.
