The inaugural Senior LPGA Championship presented by Old National Bank is approximately one month away and the greatest names in women’s golf are teaming up to support Indiana’s biggest name in children’s healthcare.
To celebrate the Senior LPGA Championship this July 10-12, LPGA Legend Michelle McGann will visit Old National Place Wayne Henning Atrium in Evansville on Wednesday, June 7 at 10:00 a.m. CT. Michelle McGann was born in West Palm Beach, Florida and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 13. Despite the challenges she faced, McGann was a three-time Florida state junior champion. McGann joined the LPGA in 1989 and has seven LPGA career victories.
Resort Charity Events, the charitable arm for French Lick Resort, will announce all Senior LPGA players will donate $1 for every stroke during the tournament to Riley Hospital. In addition, 100 percent of the $15 tickets for The Senior LPGA Championship will benefit Riley Children’s Foundation. Purchase through RileyKids.org/SeniorLPGA.
